Pantone Colour of the year 2017. Greenery.

Other than the lack of originality in the name, Pantone’s 2017 colour of the year is a refreshing milky green hue that brings an uncanny calming feel to the viewer. After the uncertainty that the world had experienced in the end of 2016, Greenery might be the colour that we really need in 2017 for us to start over afresh. Hopefully 2017 will be the year where we push for more environmental friendly and sustainable products and services, symbolic of the colour.

” Greenery bursts forth in 2017 to provide us with the reassurance we yearn for amid a tumultuous social and political environment. ”
– Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the PANTONE Color Institute

We at Iluma Design are also very excited to see how we can use Greenery in our web designs and other services so that we can match our client’s branding and marketing. The colour pairings on Pantone’s site do suggest a more earthy and natural set with inspiration drawn from the likes of the Grand Canyon or the Forest Floor.
